Route

  1. Follow "Access to Col des Mines" (2.1).
  2. From the Col des Mines, traverse diagonally to the right for about 300m staying as high as possible on the mountainside . Warning: avalanche danger.
  3. Cross over the ridge to access a large bowl known as the "Bâ Combe". On your right, you will see the avalanche barriers, stay well below them.
  4. Descend this large bowl, always heading to the right.
  5. Ski down to the road (ski slope), which comes down from Savoleyres towards Carrefour. From there you can take the ski bus, or ski down the slope known as ‘le Rouge’, or ski back to Médran.
  6. Variant 1: walk for 15 minutes to la Tête des Etablons, ski down to the lowest point of the ridge and turn left.
